Derby Weekend

Clearly, this season hasn’t gone like many of us hoped.

Clearly, this is something we have to say all too often.

Clearly, times are tough.

But, despite everything that has been a mess and a joke of season, there are still a few games that will always matter and will always be bigger than just those 90 minutes.

One of those games is on Monday.

The Harrisburg City Islanders roll into town and there is only everything on the line. It’s the first of three matchups against our in-state rivals and retaining the Keystone Cup will go a long way in salvaging an otherwise forgettable season. Harrisburg deserves nothing and should be given even less. Everyone needs to be walking into Highmark Stadium on Monday evening with the express purpose of making things uncomfortable for Nick Noballs and company for two hours. No letting up or taking a step back. The Fourth of July will be a great day, it always has been. The party will start early and run past the fireworks. But, from 7 to 9 that evening, we’re all going to work.

Army members, it’s loud and non-stop from the moment we walk in till the moment we step out. We get three nights this year to rightfully claim our little piece of dominance. Let’s take it with both hands and never let go.
