According to The Globe and Mail, two Toronto FC players will make a rehab start against the Riverhounds at the Highmark on Friday evening.
Danny Koevermans, a towering 6′ 3″ forward, spent much of his career in the Eredivisie (the highest division of soccer in the Netherlands). Koevermans only has 1 appearance in the 2013 season, with zero goals. His season came to a halt when he suffered a knee injury.
Terry Dunfield is a Canadian midfielder who, after a brief stint in the United Kingdom, returned to North America to play two seasons for the Vancouver Whitecaps. In 4 appearances this season with Toronto, he has zero tallies. He is currently nursing a knee that was hyper-extended.
Both of these players will surely add to the excitement of having an MLS reserves side competing against the Hounds this Friday at Highmark Stadium.
