What’s new this week with the Riverhounds, Highmark Stadium, and USL PRO?
- According to Matt Grubba at the Trib, Rich Costanzo values his role as captain of the Pittsburgh Riverhounds.
- If you haven’t heard already, Saturday July 6th will be Latino Heritage Night at the Highmark when the Riverhounds play the LA Blues.
- Yesterday, Ives Galarcep reported that OKC was a front-runner to submit a bid to join the NASL. Today, Ives reported that USL PRO was planning on awarding a franchise to OKC this week. Who will blink first?
- Apparently, Alien Ant Farm and Fuel will be playing a concert at the Highmark on July 26th.
- Tickets are still widely available for the July 19th friendly against Wigan Athletic at Highmark Stadium.
