- The Wilmington Hammerheads have unveiled a new logo for the 2014 season. Maybe they’ll also re-brand and hire someone to run their Twitter account that doesn’t troll opposing fans with poor grammar:
- USL PRO will stream all matches on YouTube for the 2014 season. The matches that have not even been scheduled yet.
- A local lacrosse club will take over the Charlotte Eagles — and have promised that the team will be in MLS by 2020. Which makes them the 50th or so minor league soccer club to promise this.
- The new USL PRO franchise in Colorado Springs just concluded a contest to give the team a name. The early risers were “The Big Green” and “Hash FC.”
- The Harrisburg City Islanders will lose another one of their prolific goal-scorers — Sainey Touray — to the San Antonio Scorpions of NASL.
- The guys at Dynamo Theory take an extended look at A.J. Cochran, the first-round pick for Houston in the MLS SuperDraft.
