There hasn’t been too much to be excited or happy about, six games into the 2014 campaign. This team desperately needs to just feel a win, any win, with tonight being as fine a time as any.Whimper out in the second round, and the aftermath could be devastating.
Collins John will be available for the first time after missing the previous three games due to a USLPro suspension. The availability of Jose Angulo and Jhonny Arteaga is still unknown, with Angulo having left last week’s match with an injury and Arteaga having missed the last couple of matches with what is being described as a lower extremity injury.
One of the looming questions is the availability of the Houston loanee players. With several of those players seeing some bench time for the MLS side, will the Dynamo allow those players to become cup-tied with Pittsburgh?
Finally, there is a little bit of Hounds’ history to be made, tonight. If the available records are correct, this will be Justin Evans’ 100th competitive match in charge of the Hounds. Will it be a night to remember or one to forget?
TAILGATE
Festivities are scheduled to begin at 4. Like last Friday, with weekday work parking in the lot, we will probably be further away from the stadium than normal.
