I’ve been subbed in to do a gameday post but I’m travelling so it’ll be brief.
The Riverhounds travel north to rival Rochester as the continue to look for a frustratingly elusive three points. Rochester is a defensive powerhouse that can completely shut down a game once they have the lead. It’s imperative the Riverhounds score first if they are to have any chance of points. Like the Riverhounds the Rhinos haven’t shown much of a knack for offense. If, and it’s a big if, the Rhinos have to play catch up we might finally see a win.
Every game going forward is a must win for the Riverhounds. Not necessarily to make the playoffs, but for pride. Alexi Lalas was on the Men in Blazers World Cup send off show and gave a piece of advise to the national team that resonated with me as a Riverhounds fan. Paraphrased: Whatever you do, whatever happens, just show us that you care.
We’ll be at Hough’s for a watch party. Come on out for good food and good drinks.
