Our news department has been slacking off this year so let’s get back on the wagon and take a look at some links from around the league.
- We’re probably going to see FC Cincinnati in the league next year. First reported at Scratching the Pitch and then further digging by Wrong Side of the Pond points towards the Riverhounds having another close road trip destination in 2016. It’s no Cleveland, but I’ll take a new Ohio rival.
- We might get another neighbor in the near future with FC Buffalo. Buried in a news report they mentioned they’re looking to go pro if they get a good turn out this season. Hopefully to USL. Once again another close road trip for us and a good rival for Rochester.
- Both the Charleston Battery and the Richmond Kickers will host the EPL’s West Bromwich Albion in July for a friendly.
- Soccer America runs down a few international players making an impact so far this season.
- Louisville City is taking a page out of Orlando City’s book in establishing franchise.
