The Hounds travel to the other side of the state today to take on that other Pennsylvania team. If you’re unaware this is the first season for the new version of Bethlehem Steel, and the first match up between the two clubs. Bethlehem have been pretty average in their first year, but as the “2” team for the Philadelphia Union there’s a good chance they have other priorities than where they are in the standings. The Hounds will be looking to build upon their first clean sheet this season. A win today wouldn’t immediately change their position in the standings, but it would put them in a good position to take advantage of the 4 and 5 games they have on the two teams in front of them (what a weird schedule this year). Ultimately though they just need points, and considering their bad record on the road, I’d be happy with a draw.
Forget that boring Euros whatever. Come on you Hounds!
