Steel Army Assemble! Yeah this season sucks. Yeah the Hounds keep losing. Yeah moral is low. We just lost to Harrisburg. I’m sure some of you are ready to check out.

We’re supporters. We’re not going to sit here and feel sorry for ourselves. Did you see the banner the Harrisburg supporters hung in our stadium last game? That cannot stand. I don’t care if we don’t win another game the rest of the season. You don’t skip rivalry games. We’re not going to go quietly into the night. We’re going to Harrisburg. We’re going to take over and own that little ballpark of theirs. We’re going to give it hell for 90 minutes. We’re going to bring home the Keystone Cup again.

Logistics:
A seat on the bus costs $35 for Steel Army members and $40 for non-members. You can sign up through the online store. We’re getting a 40 person bus. Little smaller than in the past, so make sure to sign up early to get your seat. Wifi, power outlets, and a bathroom will be available.

You can also sign up in person at any Steel Army event / Riverhounds game.

We’ll depart from Highmark Stadium around 11:30 am. Coming home, we’ll leave Harrisburg about an hour, hour and a half after the game ends. We’ll probably get back to Pittsburgh around 2:30 am.

If you’re 21+ BYOB. If you’re under 21 please note that we’re probably going to hang out at a bar after the match while we wait for the bus to pick us up. Since at that time of night you have to be 21 to get in, some of you may have to hang out at a nearby taco place instead. We’re sorry to split the group up but it’s the only option we have at that time of night in that part of town.

We know this season hasn’t been great. At this point we’re just looking to have some fun before it mercifully ends. Away trips are always a blast and memorable for various reasons. Let’s pack this bus and go out with a bang!
