The Hounds hit the road for the first time this season to take on the Charleston Battery. They look to bounce back from a frustrating loss last week against the a team having a hot start to the season. The Hounds will be without the service of Agbossoumonde as he serves his one game suspension from the red card last week. In the interim they have picked up Abubakar on loan from the Columbus Crew. Presumably he’ll be in the line up tonight helping the Hounds shore up the back line. They’ll need it, as the Battery are averaging two goals a game in this young season.
Besides league points tonight is also the first match in the Old Guard Shield competition. Points tonight will not only help us in the USL standings, but start us on good footing in the new supporter’s shield.
It’s a tough challenge but let’s get it done boys. Three points await!
