Hounds Transfer Vincent to D.C. United

After weeks of flirting, D.C. United really does like Rob Vincent and they decided to go steady. Vincent will be the third Riverhound to join D.C. United over the past decade, and the second to jump to MLS this offseason.  As supporters it’s a case of mixed emotions. Mostly we’re super happy for Rob. 2016 Preseason

Besides announcing the long awaited regular season schedule last week, the Riverhounds also dropped their preseason schedule. As usual it’s a smattering of college teams, but it’s a different group than we’ve seen over the past few seasons. 2/28 – @ Penn State – 1 pm 3/6 – vs Ohio State – 1 pm 3/13 – vs Michigan – 12 pm 3/18 – vs Akron – 6 pm Nothing against the local colleges the Hounds tend to play, but they aren’t exactly powerhouse programs. 2016 Hounds Schedule is Out: First Thoughts

The 2016 Riverhounds (and full USL) schedule is out. Some quick thoughts on the schedule as well as some dates to circle on the calendar (for those who haven’t already circled all 15 home dates). The first thing to notice is that all home games are at 7pm. No more scorching in the sun for afternoon kickoffs.  There are also no games placed less than three days apart.
