Player News and Notes: International Callup and A New Signing
Thomopson to Join the Jamaican National Team for Copa America I completely forgot Jamaica was in the Copa America this year. Fortunately for Ryan Thompson Jamaica didn’t forget about him. For the second time this year, and probably not the last, Thompson will be joining the Reggae Boyz to represent his country on the international stage. As always we’re extremely excited for Thompson and wish him all the luck in the world. The downside is he’s going to end up missing a lot of USL action. The Copa America runs

The Riverhounds stumble and fall 3-2 to New York Red Bulls II Last week I talked about how games against MLS 2 teams are going to be critical down the stretch and that the Hounds can’t drop points against them. In the Gameday preview we mentioned this had the hallmarks of a trap game. Welp… here we are… unfortunately. I am hesitant to say the Hounds fell into a trap. They played pretty well and scoreline aside their performance looked consistent with what we’ve seen the last few weeks. It
