We’re on a mission from God.

The Charlotte Eagles’ vision is “to see God glorified.” The Hounds hope that the Eagle see them win in front of their own crowd tonight at Queens University Stadium.

Charlotte is undefeated so far this season in USL PRO play, and the Hounds desperately need a win to build off of. So far, the Hounds have allowed late game-winning goals by the opposing side in two straight matches. Look for Justin Evans to make some adjustments and for the Hounds to come out of the gates hungry for a win.

Another straight loss is unacceptable. This team needs to start winning, now.

LAST MEETING: August 10, 2012 – Chartiers Valley High School – 3-0 Eagles

HOUNDS PLAYER TO WATCH: Matty Dallman, M – Dallman was signed by the Hounds in the middle of last season, and made the roster this season. Quick and nimble on the sidelines, Dallman already has two assists this season, including a cross last game that was headed in by forward Kevin Kerr. Dallman loves Pittsburgh, and it would be great for him to keep getting looks by Evans and company.

[The Eagles’] Nate Thornton grabbed a 90th minute equalizer in the game against Orlando on Tuesday, April 23rd to keep the Eagles undefeated in three USL PRO games. Thornton put Lions goalkeeper Sean Kelley under pressure after a long outlet pass and calmly put the ball in the back of the net to secure the draw. The Eagles came out of the halftime break with more energy in their attack and kept the pressure on the Lions throughout the 2nd half. The game was a rough one as there were seven yellow cards and 39 fouls between the two teams.
