If you had the look up the title of this post on Wikipedia, congratulations, you just learned something new today.
This was a very impressive outing by the Hounds. For the first 15-20 minutes of the match, Angulo and Arteaga were carving Toronto’s defense at will.
For the rest of the game, the defense held the fort, until Toronto was able to equalize. All things said, not a bad performance against a reserve squad from Toronto that had more talent than the Hounds are used to seeing on any given night.

The Hounds are currently showing a 6 OUT OF 10 on the #JUICED meter…
“They need to work for it” was the simple statement uttered by Mike after the Hounds drew against Toronto. Their play on the field was solid, but they did let up towards the end of the match. Expect the Hounds to rebound on Saturday against the Battery.
NOTES:
- Kevin Kerr has been playing out of his mind in the midfield, and has solidified a consistent starting spot. He is still way overdue for a goal. He continues to generate quality chances and adds some offensive flair to the tactical awareness of Motagalvan and C’deBaca.
- We learned during the post-game party that Kinne has been battling a nagging injury since the beginning of the since. This is the reason he has been coming into matches as a power sub instead of as a consistent starter.
- Classy move by Kutney at the last minute deciding to open the Starting XXI Bistro at The Highmark for a post-game viewing party of the USA-Jamaica hex match. Most of the players were in attendance, and it was nice to chat with them. Let the haters hate, but Kutney is very supportive of the Steel Army and the energy we bring.
