Wilmington is coming off a home scoreless draw against our good buddies from Harrisburg. Most surprising may be the 11 shots that the Hammerheads were able to produce while limiting a Harrisburg side to minimal scoring threats. Wilmington also featured two players as part of their affiliation with Toronto FC, as goalkeeper Quillan Roberts and midfielder Daniel Lovitz started and played to full 90 minutes. Start working on your best Quillan Roberts lines now, as we need to make him feel nice and welcomed in front of our end.

The biggest piece of news to come concerning the hounds since last week’s loss at Richmond is that the Dynamo have recalled Anthony Arena for Houston’s clash against Prince and the Revolution. With Arena away for the weekend, it wouldn’t be suprising to see a backline of Flunder, Green, Marshall, and Fekete or Ownby. The midfield becomes a little more questionable, as the fitness levels and recovering injuries to some players may make them available to start, rather than coming off the bench. The strongest that this club has has looked over the past two weeks was during the final half hour, last week, when Ngwenya and Obodai were able to make serious impact in the middle of the pitch.

There isn’t too much more to add that hasn’t been covered in this FAQ. 3pm, West Lot. Be There!

The Hounds have failed to get off to the most blistering of paces with their two road contests to open the season. Granted, opening at the previous season’s league and regular season champions in consecutive weeks isn’t exactly the most gentle way to start a new campaign. However, those past two weeks are nothing but lines in record book, now. Today, friends, is what we live for. Today we open the gates at Highmark Stadium and turn a friendly little soccer pitch on the banks of the Monongahela River and turn it into the fortress we so deservedly want it to become. Bring your voice, your energy, your passion, your excitement, your hunger, and your will. When you bring all that, and a little more, then combine it with those of a couple thousand people, we will influence what happens out on the pitch. Not just tonight, but every game. We will make an impact. We will make this building the hardest place for opposing teams to visit. We will help decide the outcome of games.
