- St. Louis FC are fully focused on their first year in USL PRO. Refreshing they aren’t throwing around “We’re going to MLS!” like every other expansion team. Also talks of affiliating with the Chicago Fire.
- Some more aftermath of the Orlando City supporter incident. In addition- the Ruckus have been re-instated as an “official supporters group.” The Iron Lion Firm are refusting to meet with the team.
- Real Salt Lake is looking to build a stadium at the Utah State Fairpark and stick their USL PRO team there starting in 2016. No word on what they’re doing for 2015. This is supposedly a rendering of what they’re shooting for.
- Still rumors of a Detroit team. Detroit City FC of the NPSL are looking for a bigger home, and if the Detroit USL group is able to land a team and a stadium, DCFC is interested in playing there.
- Sounder At Heart makes a case that the Seattle Sounders need to start a USL team sooner rather than later.
- Even though FC Dallas was close to announcing a USL PRO team for this season, it seems they are still mulling it over if they want to continue with that plan for next year.
- The Vancouver Whitecaps and the New Westminster ownership group are looking for the communities input on their recently announced USL PRO team.
- Weekly Rumor Mill- Can’t say this is very creditable, but I’ve seen a few posts around the internet that are very confident a Las Vegas USL PRO team will be announced within the next couple months. Vegas has been quite a hot (HA) topic for soccer this week.
