Hounds Release First Post-Bankruptcy Statement

The Riverhounds have released their first statement since the club and stadium’s reorganization plans were approved, last Friday.

The Riverhounds are proud to announce that the Club’s reorganization plans have been officially approved by U.S. Bankruptcy Judge Jeffery A. Deller.  The approvals, which apply to both the Pittsburgh Riverhounds and Highmark Stadium, mean that both entities are now positioned to move forward in preparation for the 2015 USL Pro season and beyond, under the ownership of Terrance “Tuffy” Shallenberger and direction of current management.

In upcoming weeks, the Club will announce 2015 Open Tryout dates, season ticket packages, and a number of additional positive changes that target a bigger and brighter future for professional soccer in Western Pennsylvania.

The entire Riverhounds organization would like to sincerely thank all advisors, vendors, fans, sponsors, media, and USL league officials for the amazing and unwavering support through a very challenging period.
We look forward to seeing, and being inspired by, these announcements ‘in upcoming weeks’.
