I’m sitting in a Charlotte condo trying to type this out on an iPad. Let’s just go with bullet points, shall we.

– Mark Steffens makes his return to Charlotte. He seems to be all business about this trip and isn’t looking at anything except taking home three points.

– Charlotte has acquired TWO goalkeepers who were with Pittsburgh last year, Mike Lisch (Houston Dynamo) and Hunter Gilstrap (Carolina Railhawks). Hounds fans everywhere hope Gilstrap gets the start.

– Pittsburgh has acquired their own loanee keeper, Matt Lampson, from MLS side Columbus Crew. The Hounds goalkeeping situation has become a bit of a mess.

– The Independence were supposed to open their home grounds, Ramblewood Park, today. However, some issues making sure the seating was ADA complaint and other complications have pushed back the opening a week. Today’s match will be played at Winthrop University.
