Gameday 27: Pittsburgh Riverhounds vs Rochester Rhinos

It’s home game 14 of 14 tonight. Two more games until the end of the 2015 regular season. Season ticket holders are ripping off their last ticket and counting their remaining Tuffy Bucks. Others will be approaching the ticket window for the last time before the long winter. The last home game is always a bitter sweet one. This season has been full of memorable moments. Tonight, with everything on the line, it’s sure to be no different. We’ve come a long way since freezing our butts off in March. We have 90 more minutes to go. Win lose or draw we are fully behind the Hounds. As our end of the year tifo said in 2013- Live by the Club, Die by the Club. We’re going to do what we do best and rock the Paul Child Stand one more time.

Rochester is in town so it’s going to be a tough one. It always is. In the Hounds favor the Rhinos are the weakest on the road. They’ve gone 5-1-7 (W-L-D) this season and average 1.15 goals. Rochester doesn’t really have anything to play for. They have first overall locked up with three games to go. The Hounds have everything to play for. A win tonight would be big on every front.

For 90 minutes the dropped points earlier in the year don’t matter. The other matches being played tonight don’t matter. The only thing that matters tonight is taking care of business at home.

I know its school night but I hope you can make it out. We’re instituting a black out in the Paul Child Stand, so dress appropriately. The Hounds have their gold, the Army takes the black. Second year in a row we’re doing this for the last game. Dare I saw we’re starting a tradition. Kick off is at 7 pm. Tailgate starts as soon as you get off work.

For funsies here are the odds for tonight’s match up

PIT +175
Draw +240
ROC +120
