BUS_TRIP-2017

Army!

We’re happy to announce the bus is booked and we’re ready to start taking sign ups for our annual trip to Harrisburg. Join us on Saturday August 12th as we take 50 of you across the state for an always memorable night. There’s a lot to play for this year. Not only are the Hounds doing decent and are in the playoff hunt, but the Keystone Cup will still be up for grabs. Not to mention the new Old Guard Shield both teams are competing in. It’s going to be a hell of a night! Tickets for this trip are $40, and if we’re the smooth talkers we think we are, will include your ticket to the game. It’s BYOB, we just ask that you check yourself before you wreck yourself. Anyone puking on the bus gets left at a rest stop….

Births into the third round, and maybe a little history, are on the line in matches all across the country this evening. Here’s are quick breakdown of the two ties you should be following…

Well its finally here, the Ottawa vs. Pittsburgh matchup that everyone has been talking about, the Eastern Conference Finals….oh wait, what..whoops. Well as the Pens get ready to host Ottawa on Saturday, the Hounds will be heading north looking to make three wins on the spin as they face the Fury for the first time in the two teams history.

Ottawa joined the USL from the slowly dying NASL this season and are having a bit of a rough go in their first season in the league. The Fury are off to a 1-2-3 start, earning half their points on draws and getting their only victory at Richmond, a game in which they scored on the counter and held on for a 1-0 win despite being pressured constantly.

Ottawa is coming off three straight draws, two of them being scoreless, so they are…

Quick recap for anyone living under a rock. About this time last season during a match against the New York Red Bulls II, in a fit of rage Romeo Parkes kicked Karl Ouimette in the back. Parkes was subsequently given a red card, released from the team, and received a one season ban by the USL which also translated to a worldwide FIFA ban. His ban ended in October last year when the USL season ended, and since then he has been linked to a prior club, AD Isidro Metapán in El Salvador. The incident propelled the Riverhounds to worldwide attention in a manner…
